Apple Watch 5
The 2019 upgrade to the new Apple Watch 5 fixes any problems you had before. The new addition of the "Always-On Retina display", your $400 (and up) watch is actually a full-time watch and more. Last year Apple added heart monitoring; well, this year they've added a noise app that lets you know when decibels in your proximity are loud. Also, a new cycle tracking app lets users track their menstrual cycles. Lastly, the Watch can track your steps, make your calls, play your music, and notifies you when you sit down for long.
Has there ever been a breach or data leak?
Date of last breach
The Apple Watch specifically has not been breached, but the Apple iPhones that are connected to the Apple Watch have been. Google security researchers claimed that the Apple iPhones had suffered from massive security breaches. Specifically, hackers allegedly placed monitoring implants in an untold number of devices. This implant was inserted when users visited unspecificed hack websites and supposedly had been active for two years. Be wary!

What Could Go Wrong?
Apple does a pretty good job with privacy and security as a company. However, this device does track a lot of biometric data including your heart rate, menstrual cycle, breathing, and your heart's signals. Better hope no one can access that information.
How Does It Share Your Data?
Apple does not share data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Siri voice requests are anonymous and Apple auto-deletes them after six months.

- A lot of biometric data in one place so be aware.
- Not many cons besides that.
The Apple Watch is a great tool that helps access health and work information very easily. However, be wary as the watch holds a lot of private and personal information. Apple does a great job with security, but take the necessary steps to ensure your personal information is protected.
